My New Baby, the Non Crying Type

Sorry to friends, who had screamed "WHAT? You bought it?? Why didn't you blog about it? Why were we not told sooner?" and anyway, this is for you. Yes, after that regretful day plus night at Sitex last Sunday, I finally got myself a laptop - notebook whatever you wish to call it - from Harvey Norman on Monday. I wasn't even aware of its appearance till the next morning coz I wasn't there at its purchase. Whatever it is, I'm at last the proud owner of this 2.5KG Acer Aspire. 2.5KG isn't really THAT portable, yes of coz I'm fully aware of it but a person as clumsy as I am, I should take that weight. The tiny spot at the top left hand corner is my laptop light. I bought it for the sole purpose of putting my mum's "electrical bills are up the sky this month again!!" cries a little more quiet. The only pity thing is that my handphone's camera isn't as good as I hope it might be, judging at this picture :( Don't go all "You're so rich" thingy and such coz I am not. Seriously, am not. My handphone was a luxury , which I know went abit too far. Afterall, apart from having a good camera - maybe not - good games, walkman and a cool design to boot, I'm not really using much of the basic phone functions. I don't get that many phone calls each month. On the other hand, this 2.5KG baby hasn't even cost me a thing yet. I'm paying it by interest free installments over a period of 24 months. The best thing about this baby is that I'm finally able to make full use of my wireless network and also it does not cry nor need diapers. Wired or not, I've not really had the chance to use it since my elder niece is forever hogging it from morning till night :( She dirtied my favorite Stack Mouse, turned it from silver to mostly black and left thick traces of dirt on my keyboard leaving me mostly disgusted and not daring to use the PC :( So, humor me a little when you see me online with that little tag saying "Hi from a new laptop". I'm really saying hi in my own way from it and yes, I'm finally online!!
